Features of PLG Solar Park Light
LED Light Globes
PLG Park light Globes are made with high -powered LEDs. The Globe is designed with aluminium alloy strips throughout for overall heat radiation which protects and prolongs LED's life and so reducing lamp changes.
The globes are designed for effective light distribution. LED chips (source) are designed with Taiwan Epiled, 112 Lm/w LED chips. Colour temperature cool white at 6000-7000K
Light Fixture
All Photovoltaic Lighting Group Solar Park Light Fixtures are designed and made by PLG in Australia. They are made from spun Aluminium.
These are generated through the metal spinning process with a clear acrylic lens.
Solar Panels
PLG solar lights use highly effective mono- crystal silicon solar cell power to supply energy. As the name suggests mono-crystalline solar panels are made of single silicon wafer cells. They are the oldest technology but they have the highest efficiency. These can get 21% efficiency, even if under weak light, the solar module can produce maximum power output. Mono-crystalline is the most tried and tested technology with only minimal degradation of panel of 0.15% every year.
